As part of Angel Soft's "Be Soft. Be Strong." campaign, we set out to create a series of true stories of softness and strength about real families today, particularly those families that don't always get recognized.
So, for Valentine's Day 2016, we told a different kind of love story by showing the challenges of what it takes to be a step parent, while also proving we're not always related by blood, but by love. Within one week, the campaign reached over 15,000 shares and had over 1,600 comments from people telling their own step family stories.
We also released a video in the fall of 2015 telling the story of a brave couple taking care of their granddaughter on their own.
